Each community is autonomous and adapts to the culture of the place where it is established. There are external differences. Yet at the very heart of our lives, we are united in the spirit and Rule of Saint Clare.

	The life of poverty,
	the living in community as sisters,
	and our lives of prayer

remain the same over the centuries and across the miles.
