John Michael Talbot- First Guest in our Retreat/Guest Apartments
On May 5th the huge bus pulled up in front of our monastery. Out came John Michael Talbot, who was scheduled to give a concert at Great Falls Central Catholic High School. With him were his wife, Viola and his sound engineer. They and their bus driver were the first guests in our newly built apartments for retreatants and guests.

Lady Jacoba Fraternity
On April 14th Sisters Maryalice and Catherine traveled to Chinook to meet with the Lady Jacoba Fraternity of Secular Franciscans.  At this meeting Sister Maryalice was installed as the spiritual assistant for the fraternity.

Knights of Columbus State Convention
Our long time friends, the Knights of Columbus, invited us to speak at their annual state convention in Kalispel on April 18th.  Sisters Catherine, Debra, Judith Ann and Maryalice left home on April 17th and spoke on the morning of the 18th. As always we were well received and given a check by Bob Murphy, the State Deputy.

La Verna Ready for Retreatants
The final phase of our monastery is now complete and the retreat area is ready for retreatants, as you can see by the pictures above. There are two apartments, each with two bedrooms, a kitchenette with appliances so people can cook their own meals, and a washer and dryer. If you are interested in making reservations for a retreat, call Sister Jane at (406)453-7891 or e-mail at sisters@poorclaresmt.org

Bishop Warfel Comes for Eucharistic Liturgy
When Bishop Warfel is in Great Falls on days when we do not have Mass scheduled, he often celebrates with us. Our regular scheduled mass days are Mondays at 7:30 AM with Father Michael Guinan and Wednesdays at 5:00 PM with Father Jay Peterson. Bishop Warfel's schedule determines the time for him. Call if you wish to attend on days other than Mondays and Wednesdays to make sure that we are having Mass and what time.

Open House for Chapel Building; a guided tour
